Behind the vimsta....
I was born in 1980 and brought up in Wellingborough, Northants where I currently still reside. I used to work in Northampton’s Royal & Derngate Theatre just as a Box Office advisor and have been studying at University College Northampton for the pass two years in HND Music Production. I now work for Oxfam as a Shop Manager in Northampton.
To pass my time I am actively involved in the live music scene of Northampton, where I promote as many bands and artists as possible. Northampton has so much to offer the world, and I’m one of the many promoters in the area to make sure they are known to the public. As well as promoting, I produce music and again working with the local scene to record new tracks, which are live recordings as well as from the studio.
I’m also a campaigner, I do like to do my bit to help the world. So far have been helping ActionAid, Fair Trade and Oxfam. With Oxfam I have been heavily involved with the UK’s biggest and most ambitious music festival, Oxjam. In 2007, with a good team we raised 4000 pounds, 4 times as much as my last years total, and in April 2008 a further 700 pounds was raised. More to follow!!
